I never thought that when two summers ago, when my dad got me a job at the car dealership he works at that I would still be sitting here, with nothing to do at the front desk, just like two years ago. I'm the receptionist, and the only job more boring would be watching paint dry. If you're reading this, you're probably thinking to yourself, "wow, she's lucky to even have a job!" and yes, I am! It's not that I'm ungrateful to have this job, it's just that it can get pretty dull. The most exciting parts of my day are probably when... Well, I can't think of anything right now. Luckily, I am in the air conditioning, and I have my laptop. I didn't have a laptop up until last November. I used to read up here at the front desk, but then I realized that time went by about ten times slower when I read, so I tried to find some new hobbies. I tried bracelet making. That was short lived. I tried doodling. That was VERY short lived. I want some pickled cucumbers right now... Anyway, I got really addicted to this game called Tetris... Some may know the game. That's mainly what I do now that I have my laptop. It can get really distracting, BUT that makes time go by really fast! So, if you're ever REALLY bored and you have access to a computer and internet, go to www.tetrisfriends.com . It's awesome. Geez, Have I really written this much about my job? I usually hate to write, but then again when I have to write it's on something that has to do with school work.
Speaking of school work, I start college next year. That means...
FREEEEEDOM! Ahh, I can almost taste it. This Sunday and Monday is orientation. I'm excited, and worried at the same time. I'm worried about meeting new people.. I'm not the best at that. I'll be okay though. I'm going with my future room mate, her mom, and my mom. Someone that went to the orientation told me it was very informational, and he told me to meet as many people as I can and be very social. Hmm..
I never thought I would be the blog writing kind of person.. But now that I'm actually writing, everything is just kind of flowing right off my fingertips. I think this blogging thing is probably a good stress reliever.. To get everything off of your mind and put it on paper... Or screen. I used to keep a "diary", when I was in elementary school. I loved writing in that thing. I quit though. Probably forgot about it, because I know I had time. Nope, not much has changed. I forgot how much I like writing.
I can just picture myself thinking one day "Oh, I've gotta remember to write about that in my blog!"
I used to have a xanga.. (www.xanga.com) and that was a blog, but at the time I didn't realize it. It was just like a myspace, in a way. Just some stupid trend that my friends and I did because we had no lives...
